5-minute reminders

Below you will find timers for various lengths you may want to meditate for. These come with a bell after every 5 minutes that have passed to make sure your focus does not waver for too long.

There can be long stretches of time in meditation where you lose your focus as you get caught up in some fantasy of the mind. With the 5-minute reminder, you make sure that you stay alert and attentive. At least you won’t drift off for any longer than 5 minutes. 

You can still enjoy the stillness but this offers a safeguard, an anchor, so you don’t get completely lost in mind games. Most meditation techniques go well together with these 5-minute reminders.
