Bodyscan

The bodyscan meditation is designed to gradually let the body relax. It works by placing your attention on the different body parts one by one and allowing the muscles to loosen up. 

It can be practiced either laying down or whilst sitting. 

It is a helpful way to fall asleep with the progressive muscle relaxation, which soothes you into a deep sleep. Try one of these guided meditations just before, or at bedtime and you will see.
